Actor Roopa Ganguly has spoken about her experience performing the Cheer Haran sequence while portraying Draupadi in the Doordarshan television series Mahabharat, revisiting the impact and execution of the scene years after its original broadcast.
In a recent reflection, Ganguly discussed how the sequence was shaped by writing, direction and character development. The episode depicts Draupadi’s humiliation in the Kaurava court, a turning point in the narrative of the epic.
